We spent our first time in the ER with Peyton a few weeks ago....Jaxon and Peytee were playin on a wooden rocking chair and we think he was pushing her a little too hard in it, and she hit her face on the rail cause thats where the blood was, and her tooth went through horizontally under her lip and split vertically on the outside and this is what it looked like.
This is where she needed stitches....of course its right there on her face. This is right after it happened on our way to the hospital.
Waiting for the doctor to come in...
This is what they strapped her in to hold her down.
She had 2 different nurses and a respiratory therapist holding her down plus the straps. She had 7 numbing shots...which never ended up working so she felt everything. And after the first sedative didn't work to calm her down, they gave her a 2nd one in her leg which was supposed to pretty much knock her out...but it only lasted maybe 10 minutes and she was back up fighting again. The worst part was she said "owie" and " mommy" the entire time.
3 1/2 hours later...
This is right after Daddy and Jaxon came back in the room. She was a little out of it and pretty loopy. As soon as Jaxon saw her, he kept sayin "I'm so sorry mommy" and then kept apologizing to Peyton cuz he felt so bad.
And these were taken 2 weeks after, it is healing really good! We're hoping it fades. So far it is looking better everyday

Oh my goodness! I would've stood there next to her cyring my eyes out the whole time. Kelsey doesn't numb very well either. It's so rude. Holy smokes. I'm glad it's/she's getting better!
oh my gosh nothing worse then seeing your baby in pain and not being able to do anything about it! i am glad she is getting better!
Awww...I hate to look at these pictures. It really is looking good though now. It was great hang out with you guys at Cherry Hill this week. Love you:)
haha poor girl! It really has healed so good! It's so sick watching people get stiches!
I think I would have cried right along with her. Poor girl :( She still is so cute!
Hey Marble family hope you don't care I took a peek at your blog. I am so sorry about your stitches. I am such a wuss I would have had to walk out of the room and went out into the waiting room and had a temporary melt down. What a good mom you are.
Stef had stitches when she was about that age right under her bottom lip. I just about passed out while trying to hold her down. It was AWFUL! I made Chris take her when it was time to get them out and the doctor almost passed out that time! He had to leave the room! This brought back so many memories!
The good news is you can hardly see the scar now and she doesn't remember it happening.
Poor girly! I hate stitches! It looks like it has healed pretty well though! Zach's had them twice! Must be the crazy Doxey blood in them! :) You're kids are SOOO cute btw!
SOOOO SAD!!! Poor little thing. I hate when they have to strap them down. It is so heartbreaking. I love the pic of Jaxon kissing it better.
Oh that is so sad! My Jaxson just got his first stitches about 3 weeks ago on his chin and it is definitely not fun! I'm glad Peyton doing better!
